What is Precision Score?
The Precision Score on the BLUEOPS platform reflects a trainee's shooting accuracy, measured as a percentage. It is calculated as the ratio of earned points to the maximum possible points in a drill, providing a clear indicator of shooting precision.

Calculation of Precision Score
The formula for Precision Score is:
Precision Score = (Earned Points ÷ Maximum Possible Points) × 100
Where:
-
Earned Points: The total points a trainee scores during a drill.
-
Maximum Possible Points: The highest achievable points if all shots hit the highest scoring zones.
Example Calculation
If the maximum possible points in a drill are 150 and a trainee scores 120 points, the Precision Score would be:
Precision Score = (120 ÷ 150) × 100 = 80%
This means the trainee achieved 80% accuracy during the drill.

Why Precision Score Matters in BLUEOPS
Tracking Precision Score helps trainees:
-
Evaluate Accuracy: Understand their ability to hit the designated target zones.
-
Identify Weaknesses: Recognize drills or specific target zones where precision needs improvement.
-
Monitor Progress: Track improvements in shooting accuracy over time.
Precision Score is essential in maintaining a balance between speed and accuracy, ensuring that trainees focus on precise shot placement while building overall skill.
